How playing music makes you smarter

When you play an instrument you begin to listen to music differently. You start to assess chord changes and anticipate what is coming. So, even when you are resting, your brain keeps active and learning just by listening to music. As you begin to learn about Keys and music structure, your mind can learn an instrument even when you are not holding one.

Learning an instrument (preferably guitar haha), is an on-going experience that never goes away. You can never learn it all, but your brain will keep trying!
